Our People

Rob Mascari has owned and operated the Silver Spring, MD maid service since 1988. He and his wife, Anne are lifelong residents of Montgomery County both growing in Rockville. Rob started his career at Merry Maids under the tutelage of his father, Bob, and brother, Tom. Unfortunately both Tom and Bob passed away in the late 1990's. Rob's sister Betsy has come into the business part time assisting with various training efforts.

Additionally, Anne Mascari, Rob's wife, has recently begun developing a social media presence for each of their locations. Rob's staff cleans hundreds of homes per week. He has locations in Gaithersburg and Silver Spring, MD servicing most of Montgomery County. Additionally, he has locations in Frederick and Carroll County Maryland as well. Rob is committed to hiring the best, most committed professionals to work at Merry Maids. Glenda - Field Supervisor

Glenda has worked for Merry Maids for nearly 10 years. She began with the company in a cleaning position and quickly worked her way up in the company managing our team member recruitment efforts. Her current role has her out in the field quite often visiting customer's homes and performing quality checks to ensure that our customers are receiving top notch service and that teams are following our strict quality standards. She is involved in the new hire training and conducts staff meetings on a regular basis to reinforce cleaning and safety procedures.

Irene - Office Assistant

Irene is most likely the first person you will talk to when you call the office. She’ll be with you every step of the way whether it’s to set up an appointment with our cleaning consultant or answering questions about your service . Irene helps clients with all aspects of their cleaning service from scheduling to resolving any service issues . Irene loves getting to know our clients and being the friendly voice on the other end of the phone , she truly makes sure that every call ends with a smile. 

Jany - Office Manager

Jany joined Merry Maids in 1998. She manages the office and cleaning staff and oversees the daily operation. She started out as a team member cleaning homes and has held most positions in the office. Jany's office has one of the best team member retention rates in the country. Jany makes sure that her teams leave the office smiling every morning so they can provide the best service possible for their customers.

Pam - Home Services Consultant

Pam started in Merry Maids in July of 2015 as an Office Assistant and was promoted early in 2016 to Home Services Consultant. Her responsibilities include marketing to prospective new clients, customer service, quality assurance and improving the customer experience. Pam performs the majority of our in home consultations and enjoys meeting new clients to explain Merry Maids unique system of cleaning. Offering a free in home, no obligation estimate allows our customers the opportunity to customize their cleaning and make a more informed decision. Pam loves meeting our clients and explaining the great benefits and informing them about our dedicated and hard working employees in the field.  Pam feels that she is not just selling a clean home but truly making a difference by providing our customers the extra time to spend with their families.

Luz - Quality Assurance and Training Coordinator

Luz is our Quality Assurance and Training Coordinator. After working 13 years as one of our most dedicated Team Captains, Luz was promoted to a new position on April 2016. Her position bring continuous education for our team members on quality, safety and changes in cleaning procedures and policies. Additionally, she works in the field to ensure that our quality standards are being met. 

Raul - Laundry Maintenance Supervisor

Raul launders and sanitizes our microfiber cleaning cloths every day. He also makes sure that the equipment we use in our customer's homes is in top shape and keeps our office environment looking beautiful at all times.

Employee of the Year 2017 

Meet our Employee of the year 2017 Josefina! Josefina is an incredibly hard-working employee, always carrying a full workload with a smile on her face. Her customers love the fact that she knows their house and always greets their children and pets by name. She is caring and very helpful to her customers and brings a lot of joy to them, especially her home customers.  She is always professional in her approach to her duties.   She is always willing to help other team members at the end of her day, often starting earlier than her start time to accommodate a customer work conflict or meeting. In our eyes Josefina is the definition of a merry maid.
