Before ever wearing the Merry Maids name, potential applicants are carefully screened. This process insures that the individuals we hire, and those that you have in your home, are truly dedicated to providing you with a job well done. Training - no team member enters your home without it. In fact, each new employee, despite background or prior experience, is required to attend a comprehensive, week-long training program. It is only upon completion of this program that the new team member becomes certified to clean.
Combine hard work, humor and a little bit of crazy and you have Kelly Hendrix. Serving as the Utah GM, for Merry Maids, Kelly takes on challenging responsibilities, such as employee gratification and customer satisfaction. Kelly has been a part of the Merry Maids family since 2011 and looks forward to many more exciting years!
I am a fun loving Grandma from Tooele County! I like to consider myself one part sugar and one part spice! I spent the early part of my career raising my six wonderful children before transitioning to the work force. I started at Merry Maids in Salt Lake City as a cleaning professional in October 2016. I am currently the Assistant Manager for our office. The best part of what I do hands down is helping to make our customers lives better! As someone who truly loves life in every way, I enjoy spending my time learning new things and trying to improve myself. You'll never know how far you can go if you never try right?
From Cleaner to CSR to Sales and to my current position as Provo’s Assistant Manager, I’ve developed a deep understanding of management over my 9 years in the cleaning service industry. As the Assistant Manager, I take pride in my work and thrive on success. I enjoy working in a positive environment, as it allows me to have fun, help others, and grow as a person.
A self-described optimist, Nikki is an Office Coordinator who is committed to strive and succeed in her work. She has spent the last 5 years creating a good rapport with clients, and is currently most passionate about the work she is doing to help others. As a Trainer turned Officer Coordinator, Nikki has developed a unique perspective when it comes to cleaning and customer service.
She is anyone's best friend that feeds her! Sadie loves visiting the Merry Maids office especially on - team breakfast day!

Founders Brad and Lisa Dionne started their Merry Maid franchise journey back in 1987, before most people had ever heard of a house cleaning “service”. Back then, it was all about 18 hour work days… doing every job the company required from cleaning, customer service, accounting, inventory control, marketing, hiring, training and meeting with potential customers to give bids. It was a “bootstrapping” story if ever there was one! Despite all this, their greatest pride and joy in life come from their beautiful children Emily, Cooper, and son-in-law Brett, and their faithful yellow lab “Banjo”.
