Merry Maids of Sycamore is deeply connected to the local community through its services, involvement, and leadership. Joyce Schirmer purchased the franchise in June 1998 and quickly saw it as a wonderful opportunity to bring her daughter, Jackie Franklin, into the business. Jackie grew to love the Sycamore community so much that when the chance came to move just a few blocks from the office, her family didn’t hesitate to make it home. Over the years, Jackie's sister and both daughters have graduated from Sycamore High School—each working part-time in the family business along the way.
Merry Maids of Sycamore is proud to be an active part of the local community. As long-time members of the Sycamore Chamber of Commerce, they regularly engage in networking events and support local business development. With over 27 years in business, Jackie and her team have become known for their commitment to giving back—whether it's volunteering at community events, donating to school fundraisers, or rallying together to support a cause while participating in a local 5K.
