Do I have to be home for the cleaning?

It is not necessary for you to be home during your scheduled cleaning. For your convenience, Merry Maids may secure a key to your home. The key is locked in our office at all times and is only accessible by the Franchise Owner or Office Manager. All keys are signed back in at the end of the day.

Can I schedule a cleaning for a specific day and time?

If you have a particular day and time that works for your schedule please let us know. We will make every attempt to honor that request. Requests are granted based on service type and location to minimize travel time for our teams.

How much will it cost to clean my home?

Our more than 25 years of experience has helped us learn that every home is as unique as the people living there. Several factors will determine the cost to clean your home, among them are size, condition, pets, number of hard surface floors versus carpet in the home, and of course the general condition. Merry Maids offers a free in-home consultation to provide you with a custom quote to clean your home.

What form of payment do you accept?

We accept cash, check, or credit card. (Visa, Master Card, Discover, and American Express)

Should I do anything to prepare my house for cleaning?

Please make sure that your alarm is off on the day of the cleaning as well as the heat or AC for the team members to work comfortably. The team members will do their best to work around any clutter. We do not expect you to do any major cleaning prior to our arrival, however, some straightening and picking up may be helpful for our teams to do a more thorough job of cleaning. Also, be sure to leave linens out on the beds that you would like sheets changed and leave your payment on the kitchen counter if we are not to charge your card on file.

Are they comfortable cleaning with pets in my home?

Merry Maids is a pet friendly business. We do ask that pets are secured while cleaning for their safety and the safety of our staff.

Do I need to provide any cleaning equipment or supplies?

Merry Maids provides everything. There is nothing you need to provide unless you want a specific product used on a specific item/area.

What if I am not satisfied with your cleaning services?

We guarantee our work and work hard to ensure you are always satisfied with your service. If you are not completely satisfied with your cleaning, please contact our office within 24-48 business hours to schedule a follow-up appointment. Our service guarantee means our team members will re-clean the areas of concern at no additional charge.
